WPEC-CBS 12 Studios, A true dream came to life through advocacy

A true dream came to life through advocacy — being invited to WPEC-CBS 12 Studios to sit down and speak with Sam Kerrigan on Parkinson’s Disease awareness.

My heartfelt thanks to Sam and the entire CBS team for giving me the opportunity to share my passion for advocacy, Parkinson’s awareness, and the mission behind togetherforsharon®. It was an incredible honor.

Our local community and the global Parkinson’s community are always in my heart. I fight in memory of my mother, Sharon, who lost her 18-year battle with Parkinson’s at just 69 years old. Though she is no longer with us, she lives on through these moments, these memories, and through each and every one of you.

Today, we continue the fight for everyone battling Parkinson’s and for the families walking alongside them — because no one should ever feel alone on this journey. We will stand beside you 24/7. Anything and everything I can do to support someone diagnosed or a family in need — count me in.

Sending love, strength, and gratitude — and a sincere thank you to CBS for this incredible opportunity. https://cbs12.com/
