Thank you to the City of Boca Raton, Mayor Scott Singer, and the entire staff for helping gain a proclamation that April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month in memory of my mother, Sharon Riff Ackerman. Special thanks to the Palm Beach County Board of Commissioners for declaring August 22, 2023 as “TogetherForSharon” month. I am forever grateful and will never stop advocating until there is a cure. We started TogetherForSharon® as a family to keep my mother’s memory alive and share the message of Parkinson’s awareness and hope for a cure.
