Every gift goes toward Parkinson’s awareness and the search for a cure — in loving memory of Sharon.
Let’s band together. We started TogetherForSharon® as a family to keep my mother, Sharon Riff Ackerman’s, memory alive and to share the message of Parkinson’s awareness and hope for a cure.
Together For Sharon is run entirely by volunteers, in loving memory of Sharon — no one here draws a salary. Every donation directly supports the Parkinson’s community by advancing awareness, funding critical research, and helping create potential scholarships for future neurologists dedicated to studying Parkinson’s disease and improving the lives of those affected and the families who need more support.
Receipts are available on request.
Donations are processed securely through Donorbox.
Sharing a story costs nothing and reaches someone who feels alone. Subscribe for updates, or share the site with one person who needs it.
Our mission has always been greater than one organization — it is about bringing the Parkinson’s community together. By raising awareness, sharing educational resources, amplifying research, and highlighting the remarkable work being done around the world, we hope to inspire hope for every individual living with Parkinson’s disease and every family walking this journey alongside them.
Together For Sharon is proud to stand alongside the global Parkinson’s community and to promote the incredible work of organizations such as the World Parkinson Congress, the American Parkinson Disease Association, the Parkinson’s Foundation, Drive Toward a Cure, Power Over Parkinson’s, the PMD Alliance, the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, and many other inspiring groups dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Parkinson’s disease.
Everything we do is in memory of those we have lost to Parkinson’s, including my mother, Sharon, whose courage and strength continue to inspire this mission every day. Her legacy lives on through every story shared, every person we support, and every step we take toward a future without Parkinson’s disease.
