💙 Thank You, Parkinson’s Journal — Sharon’s Story Will Never Be Forgotten

A heartfelt thank you to Parkinson’s Journal for featuring our journey in “George Ackerman: No One Should Face Parkinson’s Alone.”

For me, this is about so much more than an article. It is another opportunity to ensure that my mother, Sharon, is never forgotten simply because she lost her battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Her battle may have ended, but her story did not.

Her memory continues through every person we reach, every story we share, every interview and conversation, and every effort through TogetherForSharon® to raise awareness and bring hope to individuals and families affected by Parkinson’s disease.

I will continue telling our journey because no family should ever feel alone. I will continue advocating for those battling today, honoring those we have lost, supporting their families, and amplifying the voices of researchers, doctors, advocates, organizations, and others working toward better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.

Mom, this will always be for you. 💙
