Mother’s Day 2026 is a difficult one. 💙
Not being able to spend time with my mother, Sharon, never gets easier. She lost her 18-year battle with Parkinson’s Disease years ago, yet I still relive many of the hardest moments every single day. Today, my family and support system stood beside me as we visited and remembered my mom — a reminder that love, memory, and advocacy never fade.
Just because someone loses their battle with Parkinson’s does not mean their voice no longer matters. Their stories matter. Their family’s matter. And those of us left behind must continue fighting for those still battling this disease today.
I will never rest in my mother’s memory until there is a cure. My mother, Sharon should still be here beside me today if not for Parkinson’s disease. That reality fuels my advocacy every day and reminds me why awareness, research, environmental protection, and support for families are so important.
For everyone missing a loved one today because of Parkinson’s or another devastating disease, you are not alone. We continue this fight together — in their honor and for future generations. 💙For everyone battling today and your families I stand by your side in this fight 24/7, 365. I won’t stop until you can…
