A Beautiful Afternoon of Hope: It Will Take All of Us to Cure Parkinson’s with the Michael J. Fox Foundation

My wife, Grether, and I recently had the privilege of attending an unforgettable event in Palm Beach hosted by The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research titled “It Will Take All of Us to Cure Parkinson’s.”

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was more than just a gathering — it was a powerful reminder that progress happens when community, science, advocacy, and heart come together.

Reconnecting and Building Community

One of the most meaningful parts of the evening was reconnecting with old friends who share this journey with us, while also meeting new friends equally committed to advancing research and awareness. We were especially honored to spend time with true heroes of advocacy — individuals and families who continue to stand strong in the face of Parkinson’s and work tirelessly to push the mission forward.

There is something deeply moving about being in a room filled with people united by purpose. Every conversation carried a shared belief: we will not stop until there is a cure.

Gratitude for an Incredible Organization

We are always grateful to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research — and its entire staff — for making this yet another special and unforgettable day. The care, professionalism, and passion behind the event reflected the organization’s unwavering commitment to accelerating breakthroughs for Parkinson’s Disease.

Their leadership continues to inspire hope, action, and measurable progress in research. It is an honor to support and stand alongside a foundation that has transformed the landscape of Parkinson’s advocacy and scientific advancement.

TogetherForSharon®

We attended this beautiful event on behalf of TogetherForSharon®, in loving memory of my mother, Sharon. Her journey with Parkinson’s fuels our mission to raise awareness, amplify voices, and support the ongoing pursuit of a cure.

Every step forward in research is personal. Every dollar raised matters. Every story shared strengthens the movement.

The theme of the evening could not have been more fitting — It will take all of us. And we truly believe that. It takes researchers, advocates, donors, families, friends, and communities working side by side.

We left Palm Beach filled with renewed hope, deeper connections, and profound gratitude. We are honored to be part of this movement and remain committed to the day when Parkinson’s Disease is no longer a diagnosis anyone has to face.

With hope and determination,

On behalf of TogetherForSharon® 💙
