Boca Raton Magazine

For so many years, our family felt unheard and alone. We simply wanted our journey to matter and, most importantly, for my mother’s life and legacy to be remembered.

Thank you to Boca Raton Magazine for recognizing our advocacy and helping shine a light on Parkinson’s disease awareness. This recognition is deeply appreciated, but the true hero has always been my mother. Her strength, courage, and love continue to inspire everything I do.

Just because my mother lost her battle with Parkinson’s disease does not mean her story ended or that her life mattered any less. She represents countless individuals and families whose voices are too often overlooked after losing a loved one to Parkinson’s. Their stories deserve to be told, their courage deserves to be honored, and their families deserve to know they are not forgotten.

Today, I am incredibly grateful to the organizations, individuals, and communities who continue to stand beside us, who listen, who care, and who never forget those impacted by Parkinson’s disease. Because of your support, our voices are finally being heard. Our family’s mission has grown into something much bigger than ourselves—it has become a promise to every person and every family facing this disease.

We will never stop fighting for those living with Parkinson’s today, for their caregivers, and for the families who walk this difficult journey every single day. No one should ever feel as isolated as we once did, and no one should have to battle this disease without hope, support, and a community standing beside them.

To everyone living with Parkinson’s today, and to every caregiver and family member: We see you. We hear you. We fight beside you. You are valued, you are loved, and you will never walk this journey alone.
