Writing is not easy.... it can be draining...time consuming and really the only thing I want is MORE awareness. Somedays it feels like the candle is burning down to its last wick as the days and nights pass and I am still staring at a screen writing. It gets costly though, and my hope is through you it reaches the world... that is the only way it can bring positive change. We must be together in this fight for Parkinson’s awareness and hope for a cure!

But the importance of these topics is needed and this is where we can make an impact, bring change and explore significant factors and lack of awareness that needs attention now.

Today I accomplished something for myself I never

Today I accomplished something for myself I never thought would be possible. Just a few years ago my wife and I jogged in a 5K Turkey trot and of course I did it in memory of my mother, Sharon for Parkinson’s awareness. Then two years my daughter joined us. Sadly last year in this day I missed it because I had multiple back surgeries, thigh surgery, ankle surgery and recently a shoulder surgery.

Today I crossed the finish line. I wasn’t first, I wasn’t in the middle… heck I may have been last but the point is through the pain, I could have quit, could have given up because believe me I felt like it due to constant pain but I kept saying F it keep going, keep fighting like mom did and all of you do daily…. My beautiful Parkinson’s family. I thought about you all and how together we never give up in memory of my mother and all those we lost due to PD, those battling today and I send only good thoughts for everyone during this holiday season. You are in my heart and I think of each and everyone 24/7. Literally.
