Can you tell me more about your organization?

We created our Association in memory of my father, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s at

51 years old.

The Fuerte es la Vida Parkinson No Limits Association was born from the experience of

living alongside a person in love with life itself. This person has had the strength to live by

breaking any limitation that Parkinson’s disease tried to put before him. His enterprising, curious, adventurous, imaginative, sunny, and generous spirit animates our association.

Undoubtedly, personal experience, combined with the training and professional experience gained over the past 20 years by the coordinator of the association’s counselors, are characteristics that make our commitment to caring for and accompanying individuals and

families on this journey even more intense.

What is your passion and how did you get involved in Parkinson’s awareness and hope for a cure?

Personal experience next to my dad, my passions (music, dance, theatre, art, cooking,

nature,…), I managed to reconcile them and make them an integral part of my profession,

psychometrician. Health potential, a positive approach to life and hardships are essential elements of my life and my profession. This is what moves me in accompanying awareness and hope for a cure.

What type of goals do individuals with Parkinson’s have when working with you?

Support and increase the potential for mental, social, and physical health.

What type of training and how long are the programs?

All the paths are personalized, both in terms of duration and for the therapeutic and wellness

activities. We use a specific methodology, created by me with the supervision of a

neurologist and a psychotherapist, the Parkinson No Limits Method, which is based on a

transdisciplinary holistic approach.

What effect can it have on an individual with Parkinson’s?

The benefits found are numerous, both immediate and prolonged over time. The benefits

are evident both to the people themselves and to their families. In addition, they are also found by referral neurologists of people with Parkinson’s and by the monstronteam of

neurologists and therapists.

What would you like to see as a future goal for your programs?

Being able to support more and more people with Parkinson’s and their families and make young people increasingly aware, from childhood, of the importance of really taking care of themselves.

What events do you participate in?

We participate in events, congresses, conferences at a national, international and world.

level.
